He was predeceased by: his spouse Marilyn L.; and his child David Jauch. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Jauch, Susan Baker and Steven Jauch (Kristina); his grandchildren, Sara Field (Christopher), Samantha Franklin (Lee) and Stacey Baker; his great grandchildren, Maggie Field and Andy Field; his sibling Patricia Bucholtz (Ed); and his significant other Shirley Klute. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
