He was predeceased by: his son Brian Konopa; and his brother Thomas Konopa (Barbara). He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Michelle Watson (James) and Kristopher (Rebekka); his grandchildren, Trevor (Andrea Nunez), Emelia, Ava, Aiden Marie, Levi, Parker and Kamdyn; his siblings-in-law, Conrad Sobkowiak (Barb), Debbie Zulewski (late Paul) and Carol Nowatzki (late Bill); and his pet Ranger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crossroads Christian Church (1050 Girdle Rd, East Aurora, NY 14052). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., in recognition of the compassionate care they provide.
