He was predeceased by: his siblings, Charles (Pat) and Linda Blemel. He is survived by: his wife Louise; his children, Michael D. Spahn Jr., Lisa Spahn, Aaron D. Smith (Julie), Deborah D. Whaley (Nathaniel) and Evelena J. Smith; his grandchildren, Austin Antonelli-Spahn, Christopher Allen and Carter Allen; and his siblings, Joseph (late Mary), Paul (Donna), Kathleen Macaluso and Henry (Margaret). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family encourage memorials be made to Hospice of WNY.
