He was predeceased by: his brother Donald (Susan). He is survived by: his wife Barbara L. Heater; his sons, Michael, Jeffrey, Mark (Shannon) and David (Jennifer); his grandchildren, John (Amanda), Crystal, Melissa (Cory), Josh, Jamie, Travis, Joe (Amanda) and Kari; and his sister Donna Manges (Wayne). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
