He was predeceased by: his wife Jeanne; and his brother William Higgins. He is survived by: his children, Joseph M., Kevin M. (CJ), Brian P., Missy Strauss (Randy), Sean C., Thomas C, Owen S. (Jen) and F. Higgins; his grandchildren, Lauren Higgins, Leah Budzinski (Bob) and Alex Higgins; his great grandchildren, Landon, Aubrey and Lynlee; and his sister Althea Murckoand. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
