She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Joy; and her son John Joy. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Nicholas, Scot (Lisa), Geoffrey (Marie), Sharon Joy-Kasza and JoAnne Galley (Stephen); and her siblings, Betty Bodeckor, Marilyn Pfeiffer and Allen Pfeiffer. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
