He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Hodgson; and his son Mark Hodgson. He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Pierce (Tim) and Kim Lindbergh; his grandchildren, Jay Pierce (Sally) and Tanya Pierce (Kenny); and his great grandchildren, Natalie and Olivia.

The family gratefully declines any flowers and can make donations to the local SPCA.
