He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" Erdman; his children, William Jr. Erdman (Nancy), Kathryn Gibbons (Keith), Karen Halsdorfer (Andrew) and Timothy Erdman; his grandchildren, Victoria Levine (Jordan), William III, Ryan (McKenzie), Andrew, Kaitlyn, Abigail, Caroline and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Theresa and Monica; his sister Rosemary Kloss (David); and his siblings-in-law, Margaret Stuhler (late Thomas), MaryLynn Murphy (late Jack) and Ann. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dietrich Funeral Home Inc. (2480 Kensington Ave, Amherst, NY 14226). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Christ the King Church (30 Lamarck Dr, Amherst, NY 14226).
