He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Bernadt Sr. and Mildred; his wife Gail Bernadt; his grandson William "Junior" Bernadt IV; and his sister Kathryn Knauf (late Jay).
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Hoyt (Scott), Barbara Brem, William F. Bernadt Ill (Paul Bostaph) and W. Bradford Bernadt (Andrea); his grandchildren, Amber Thompson (Collin), Brianna Anauo, Andrew Brem (Ryan Burns), Daniel Wik (Melissa), Michael Wik (Brittani), Kaylynn Lennox (Michael) and Michael Hoyt; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Jayce, Brantley, Abigail, Addison, Ellorie, Magdalyn, Athena and Serenity; his nephew Jay Knauf Jr. (Cathy); and his children, Turkish, Ismail Yurekli, Ahmet Kirtok and Mustafa Mert Dingol.
