Valerie Sonnenfeld wrote a sympathy message

“Its a very sad day at the Brothers of Mercy Nursing and Rehab Center. We have to say good-bye to our dear volunteer and friend Tom. I will miss his greeting when he came into the volunteer office "hello dear" and then the finger wave and then always a nice talk. For 8 years tom transported rehab patients to and from in-house therapy appointments. He quickly became part of our Brothers of Mercy family. Tom will be truly missed by all of us. Love and peace, Val Sonnenfeld / Volunteer coordinator”
