He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Michel and Clare Michel. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Michel; his sons, Richard L. Jr. (Corinne), Gregory L. and Daniel R. Michel (Emily); his grandsons, Maxwell and Graham Michel; his brother Robert Michel (Mary); and his siblings-in-law, Karen McLean, John, Dale McLean, Bob, Lyn McLean, Nancy and Mike Zoeckler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
