He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cynthia Biedny (Sikorski); his children, Christina (Sean Jones), Andrea Garton (Handley) and Michael V. (Stephanie Radomski); his granddaughters, Emilia and Norah Garton; his siblings, Kathy Kozlowski (Leo), Paul Biedny (Patty), Jerome Biedny (Patty) and Lisa Pilarski (Kurt); his brothers-in-law, Michael Sikorski (Chris), Scott Sikorski and David Sikorski; and his goddaughter Rebecca Hunt. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the Newman Center.
