He was predeceased by: his parents, Ilse Pinkert and Reinhold Flemming. He is survived by: his sister Renate Licata (Salvatore); his stepsiblings, Muriel Licata, Bill Pinkert and Daniel Pinkert; his nieces, Sandra Licata and Jenny Pinkert; and his nephew Sam Licata.
