He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Susan Butka; his daughter Kristin Butka; his siblings, William Butka and Joan Mackolin; and his niece Lisa Waczkowski (Larry).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 22nd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Christ the King Church (30 Lamarck Dr, Amherst, NY 14226). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
