He was predeceased by: his brother Peter Panko. He is survived by: his wife Patrica A. Panko; his children, John Scott Panko (Wendy) of Durham, NC and Susan L. Wertz (Dennis) of Midlothian, VA; his grandchildren, Kara and Kaylyn Wertz; and his siblings, Joan F. Mintz and Donald W. (Georgene). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
