It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick J Ball Jr. of East Amherst, New York, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son James Ball; and his sister Ruth Fischer. He is survived by: his wife Joan Foley Ball; and his children, Susan A. Martin (late James), Patricia J. Mergenhagen (James) and Thomas J. Ball (Patricia). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Fred's name may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., or the Buffalo VAMC.
