He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothea F. Bihl; his children, Kenneth Bihl (Linda), Janet Sergot (Paul) and Marilyn Stevens (late Thomas); his grandchildren, Scott (Jill), Brian (Molly), Carrie, Sarah Kanaley (Zachary), Nicolas Stevens and Stacy Korn (Barry); his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Daniel, Joseph, Mila and August; and his brother Edward Bihl (Jean). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dietrich Funeral Home Inc. (2480 Kensington Ave, Amherst, NY 14226). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Christ the King Church (30 Lamarck Dr, Amherst, NY 14226).
