She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Young and Edward Young; her husband Edwin; her daughter Dorcas Pearce-Reister (George); and her siblings, Charles, Arthur, Roger Young, Alvaretta Godman, Mary Lucile Holcomb and Ruth Sherbeck.
She is survived by: her siblings, Thomas Young, Floyde Stokes and Edith Bush; and her children, Judith Shaw (Howard), Jeffrey Pearce (Ann) and Jay Pearce. She is also survived by four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
