He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilbert J. Upton and Laura Burch Upton; his wife Marilyn Davis; and his children, Steven, Mark, Kathleen and Richard "Rick". He was also cherished by 4 children, 9 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
