She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bernard P. Thayer and Enid "Betty" Tarbell Thayer; her former husband James A. Kane; her fiancé Charlie Rodman; her children, Nikki Fleming (Gary) of Smyrna, Heather Manley of Smyrna, Dione Kane of Earlville, Laura Rodman (Lynn Compton) of Poolville and Cassidy Rodman (Cory Legacy) of Oriskany Falls; her siblings, Roxy Waldruff (Fred) of Earlville, Tina Frawley (Steven) of Hamilton and Ike Thayer (Nita) of Earlville; her grandchildren, Michael, Ben, Sam, Ian, Blaine, Liz, Jim and Claire; and her great grandchildren, Italia and Eli. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
