With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Unger (Earlville, New York), born in Hamilton, New York, who passed away on September 18, 2020 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan R. Unger and Elizabeth Rounds Unger; his former wife Nellie "Lucille" Gilliam; his son Benny Unger; and his sisters, Joyce Demmon and Patricia Drown.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Kracke; his children, Penny Marris of Madison, Dennis Unger (Tabitha) of Norwich, Jenny Hill (Mike) of Smyrna, Billy Unger (Lisa) of Earlville, Veronica Linnick (Stephen) of East Quoque, LI, Barbara Anne Homan of Unadilla, Michael Homan of Buffalo and Rick Homan (Lisa) of Morris; and his siblings, Deborah Burnap of Springhill, FL, Ted Unger of Earlville and David Unger (Lori) of Hamilton. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
