He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin G. Thompson and Irene Thompson (LeBarron); his wife Shirley Thompson (Leonard) of Patrick's Church; and his siblings, Ruth, Sandy and Richard.
He is survived by: his sister Shirley J. Thompson; his children, Leonard Thompson (Debbie) and Linda Sweet (Donald); his grandchildren, Christopher Thompson (Nina), Matthew Thompson (Leslie), Brian Thompson (Katie), Jennifer Kliza (Jesse) and Lisa Borden (Michael); his great grandchildren, Stella, Ryker, Knox, Declan, Boden, Finnegan, Aiden, Jameson, Isabella, Titus, Nehemiah, Gabriel, Evelyn and Annalise; his father-in-law Poppy; and his great grandchild Fix-It.
