He is survived by: his daughters, Michele Meringolo and Melissa Meringolo Arroyo; his son-in-law Sandy Arroyo; and his pets, Buster, Sprout and Jackie.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McLaughlin & Sons Funeral Home (9620 3rd Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11209). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Shrine Church of St. Bernadette (8201 13th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11228).

He had a love for all animals and made countless donations to helping them.
