He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maximino Otero and Etanisla Otero (Ortiz); his wife Juanita Otero; his children, Taina K. Otero, Stanton Otero, Zinnia L. Vargas and Victor J. Otero, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Joel A. Lopez, Anthony I. Otero, Victor J. Otero, III, Julianna Rivera and Jonathan Vargas. He was also cherished by 6 great-grandchildren.
