He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Candace A. Burns; his brothers, Lawrence and Anthony Burns; his children, Nicholas, Jude, Therese, Pauline, Mariana, Philomena and Maximillian Burns; and his parents, Lambert "Burt" Burns and Marjorie S. Burns.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the R. Mackowiak Funeral Home (56 E Doughty St, Dunkirk, NY 14048). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bma Church of St. Hyacinth (295 Lake Shore Dr E, Dunkirk, NY 14048). A burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Hyacinth's Cemetery (3607-3651 Lake Shore Dr E, Dunkirk, NY 14048).
