She was predeceased by: her parents, Essex Casey and Lucy Mae Casey (Lee); her son Michael Adams Sr.; and her siblings, Willie Yeldon, Ethel Gilchrist, Vivian Norwood, Joseph Casey and William Casey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Victoria Thornton (Jerrell), Tameika Hood and Pebbles Adams-Hill (Byron); and her siblings, Edward Casey, Walter Casey and Jerry Casey. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
