She was predeceased by: her parents, Casimer Karalus and Helen Karalus; her husband Ralph J. Root; and her brother Robert Karalus of Dunkirk. She is survived by: her children, Janet Clark (Gary) of Chagrin Falls, OH, Robert Root of Dunkirk, NY and David Root (Julianne) of Deltona, FL; her granddaughter Juliane Harder (Christopher); her great grandchildren, Elliott, Noah and Benjamin Harder of Newbury, OH.; and her sister-in-law Saranne Karalus of Dunkirk. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
