He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Szalowski and Betty Szalowski (Kolassa); and his brother Norman. He is survived by: his children, Wendy Poweski (Pat) of Dunkirk and Scott Szalkowski; his wife Loretta Szalkowski (Skrypek); his sons, James Szalkowski (Kathy) of Dunkirk and Richard Szalkowski of Dunkirk; his grandchildren, Jessica Sutton (Jeff), Megan Szalkowski, Leanne Reynolds (Doug), Kristin Szalkowski, Ashley Szalkowski, Matthew Szalkowski and Michael Szalkowski; his great grandchildren, Harry, Daniel Sutton and Jackson Reynolds; and his sister Ruby Lampert.
