He was predeceased by: his parents, Addison Speers and Ethel Speers (Rouse); his spouse Jean E. Harter; his son Donald J. Speers; his daughter-in-law Bonnie Speers; and his siblings, Milton Speers, Iona Everett, Beulah Burns and Ida Schenck.
He is survived by: his son Stanley R. Speers; and his grandchildren, Todd L. Speers (Jennifer) of Sodus, NY, Jason Speers of Canandaigua, NY, Natasha Lonitz (Ricky) of Port Orange, FL and Brittany Potesak (Vincent) of South Daytona, FL. He is also survived by several great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
