He is survived by: his daughter Susan Berding (Michael); his grandchildren, Sarah Fowler (Adam), Abby Berding, Cole Berding and Erik Van Zandt; his great grandchildren, Lily Fowler and Molly Fowler; and his brothers, Robert Porteus (Tudie) and Donald Porteus (Connie).
