He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Martin and Ethel Mary Barnett (Pooley). He is survived by: his siblings, Peter Maxwell (Max), Margaret Stephanie (Stephanie) and London; his wife Mary Isaac; his children, Peter Thomas, Susan Mary, Jennifer Elizabeth and Mairi (Spencer); his grandchildren, Emily, Tommy, Annie, Jake, Rosie, Jamie and Ruby; his niece Carol Fraser; and his nephews, Michael Jones, John Barnett and Martin Barnett.
Unfortunately, Parkinson's disease had begun to increasingly affect Mary and, after an extended visit to the US in 2011, during which Ross faced some new health issues, they decided to stay on a permanent basis.
