He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William T. Alexander and Viola Pellegrini Alexander; his granddaughter Amy Tatro Rhault (Michael) of Rochester, NY; and his children, Lillian, Nicholas, Penelope Tatro Carpenter (Gabriel) of Dryden, NY and Josiah.
These included 6 National Science Foundation Faculty fellowships: Cornell University in Radiation Biology at the Vet College; S.U.N.Y.
