It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Peer (Dryden, New York), born in Rome, New York, who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Peer and Hattie Griffith Peer; his siblings, Arlene Peer, Elizabeth Wightman, Leroy Peer and William Peer; and his daughter Linda Lee Peer Orioli.
He is survived by: his wife Martha; his daughters, Vicki Fuerst (Gregory) of Avoca, NY, Diane Corsi (Charles) of Cortland, NY and Denise McCole (Michael) of Auburn, NY; his grandchildren, Andrew Fuerst (Olivia), Carly Meacham (Josh), Bradley Fuerst (Chantel), Leah Kidder (Brian), Paul, Erin Corsi, Dr. Katherine, Kristi Orioli, Sean and Meghan McCole; his great grandchildren, Rhys, Cole Meacham, Lindsley and Carson Kidder; and his close friend Betty Davenport. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
