For Joyce is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Faye E. Ballard and Pauline Ballard (Schofield); her husband Carl Sherman; her son Gary Sherman; and her sister Janice Button.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Bernhardt of Bradenton, FL, Luanne Swanson (Gary) of Slate Hill, NY and Lois Fletcher of Bradenton, FL. She is also survived by Eleven Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; several Nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Perkins Funeral Home (55 W Main St, Dryden, NY 13053). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Virgil Rural Cemetery c/o Sue Connelly, 1041 Church St Cortland NY 13045.
