She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Mize and Francie J. Sutton Mize. She is survived by: her brother Kenneth Mize (Trish) of Knoxville, TN; her son Jeff Kirkland (Jean) of Dryden, NY; her stepson Mike Blaylock (Wendi) of Chattanooga, TN; her niece April Cranmore; and her nephew Wesley Mize.
