He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eileen Moreland; his children, John (Maryellen) of Newburyport, MA, Mary Nealon (Dennis) of Middlesex, VT, Michael (Dawn) of Fairport, NY, Eileen Schmidlin (Edward) of Corning, NY and Daniel (Alexandria) of Edgewater, NJ.; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Sean, Amanda, Melissa, Colin, Michael, Anna, Frederick, Andrew, Sarah, Angela, Olivia, David and Jackson; and his parents, John A. Moreland, Sr. and Elizabeth Jameson Moreland. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren, and friends.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a celebration of John's life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to either Seneca Lake Guardian (senecalakeguardian.org) or Seneca Lake Pure Waters Association (senecalake.org) to help preserve the lake that he loved.
