He is survived by: his wife Lena Mae Tompkins Barnes; his daughter Julie Ann Townsend (Terry) of Downsville, NY; his grandchildren, Allison Emerich (Logan) of Fishes Eddy, NY and Nicholas Townsend of Downsville, NY; his granddaughter-in-law Claudia Cavallo Townsend of Downsville, NY; his great grandchildren, Landon, Giuliana, Ciara and Mikayla; his grandson Brian; his great grandchild Zachary; and his sisters, Jean Homovich, Joan Luscomb and Dorothy Barnes (Nelson Barnes).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Colchester Community Church (15229 Main St, Downsville, NY 13755). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
