It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Perry Dutton of Dover Plains, New York, who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Perry Dutton and Elizabeth W. Dutton (Carrington); his wife Barbara Raycraft; his stepson Timothy Benson; and his grandchildren, Zackary, Jonathan, Kaitlin and Gregory.
He is survived by: his children, William Dutton (Ginger) of Amenia, NY and Rebecca Iuliano of Wingdale, NY; and his stepchildren, Craig Benson (JoAnn Woodin) of Wingdale, NY, Mark Benson (Craig Schroeter) of Putnam Valley, NY and Cheryl A. Hanselman (Joseph) of Hillsdale, NY.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Valley View Cemetery.
