She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur W. Forbes, Sr. and Evelyn J. Forbes (Novak); and her husband Fredrick E. Murphy. She is survived by: her brother Arthur W. Forbes, Jr. (Cynthia) of Charleston, SC; her niece Heather Forbes of Charleston, SC; her nephew Justin Forbes (Brandy) of Conover, NC; her great-nephew Nathan Forbes; her sister-in-law Gertrude Lockwood; her nieces, Mary Lou and Michelle; and her friend Daniel Metcalf.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Valley View Cemetery.
