We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2024, at the age of 77, Louis C. Taft Jr. (Dover Plains, New York), born in Beacon, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Louis may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis C. Taft, Sr. and Gloria Taft (Lawrence); and his wife Caroline Storms. He is survived by: his children, Karman Taft (Holly) of North Dakota, Jeffrey Taft (Brenda) of Phoenix, AZ, Deana Quarto of Highland, NY and Lou-Ann McEathron (Darrell) of Dover Plains; and his brother Donald Taft of Show Low, AZ. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fishkill Rural Cemetery (801 US-9, Fishkill, NY 12524).
