He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Tassel and Marcella Van Tassel (Hammond). He is survived by: his spouse Pennie Hitchcock; his children, Brittany Pelligrini (Tom) of Hopewell Junction, NY, Christopher of Dover Plains and Robert Van Tassel of Dover Plains; his grandchildren, Hailey, Amelia, Riley and Isabella; his sister Karen Van Tassel of Dover Plains; his nieces, Melissa McNamee and Taylor Bryden; and his nephew Kevin Cargin.
