He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur D. and Mary A. McEathron (Tomlinson); his son James Jay "Jimmy" McEathron; his grandson Josh; and his siblings, Herbert, Robert, Harold, Daniel "Art" McEathron, Madeline McCartha, Bessie Stevens, Maude Finley and Muriel "Tootie" Disco.
He is survived by: his brother Wendell Francisco; his wife Ruth A. Tompkins; his children, John McEathron of South Carolina, Daniel McEathron (Donna) of Virginia, Andrew McEathron (Diane Fleming) of Florida, Linda Strickland (Don Taylor) of Florida and Mark McEathron of Stanfordville, NY.; his stepchildren, Terry White, Philip and James Tompkins; his adoptive daughter Chrystal McGrain-McEathron; his grandchildren, Missy, Shane of Jennifer, DJ, Destin, Michaela, Kyle, Dustin, Jimmy, Cheyenne, Katie, Abby, Riley, Matt, Demitri, Sophia and Dean; his great grandchildren, David, Taylor, Hunter, Kelsi, Dillan, Cadane, Kayden, Bella, Anthony, Alexia, Elizabeth, Jack, Tatiana, Jim, Jr., Naomi, Raymond, Olivia and Aliana; and his sisters-in-law, Minnie McEathron and Bea McEathron. He is also survived by family and his many dear friends.
