He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Isaac Hewlett and Abigail Marshall Pectle Hewlett; and his daughter Nancy Lynn Hewlett. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Benson; his children, Suzann Faughnan (Kevin) of Lewisburg, PA, Deborah Nilsen (Arthur) of Terceira, Azores and Donald L. Hewlett (Shirley) of Mifflinburg, PA; his sisters, Ella Mae Hampson of Antioch, TN and Barbara Bontempo of Littleton, CO.; and his grandchildren, Stephen Finley, Eric Faughnan, Daniel Nilsen, Tyler Faughnan, David Hewlett, Rebekah Nilsen Ocheing, Benjamin Nilsen, Abigail Hewlett McMillen, Brianna Faughnan Pentek and Sarah Nilsen Ghavami. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
