It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Diane Louise Zimlinghaus of Dover Plains, New York, born in Sharon, Connecticut, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Zimlinghaus and Evelyn M. Zimlinghaus (Espitee); her pets, Max and Duke; and her sister Laura Mae Zimlinghaus.
She is survived by: her son George Crandall (Santina) of Bethesda, MD; her siblings, Edward Zimlinghaus (Michele) of Dover Plains, NY, Paula M. Roberts (Anthony) of Chatham, NY, Caroline Breitenbach (Karl) of Buchanan, NY and Georgette Wendover (Robert) of Waxhaw, NC.; her grandchildren, Alexis Rodriguez (Vince), Laura Crandall and Dahlia Crandall; her great grandchild Noah Rodriguez; her goddaughter Megan Wendoverand; and her close friend Pip. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hufcut Funeral Home (3159 NY-22, Dover Plains, NY 12522). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
