With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carmen Patricia Petty of Dover Plains, New York, born in Sharon, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mansel A. Bailey, and Janet Bailey, Jr. of Dover Plains, NY.; her granddaughter Reese Madison Tate; her parents-in-law, Yvonne S. and Frank E. "Buzz" Petty of Dover Plains; and her siblings, Elin Liverani, David Bailey and Roma "Steve" Bailey.
She is survived by: her husband Lance Corp (Bruce Edward Petty); her children, Robin M. Conklin (Scott D. Conklin) of Dover Plains and Bruce E. Petty, Jr. (Megan) of Dover Plains; her grandsons, Colton D. Conklin and Jacoby F. Petty of Dover Plains; her stepgrandson Tyler J. Conklin (Rachel) of Highland, NY; her sister-in-law Robin M. Saiken (Jack) of Poway, CA; and her siblings, Melissa Smith (Randy) of Millerton, NY, Lucy Ackerman, Valerie Logiudice, Mansel Bailey III, Timothy Bailey, Mark Bailey and Joseph Bender.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Scott D. Conklin Funeral Home (37 Park Ave, Millerton, NY 12546). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
