Shirley Anne Miller Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Anne Miller of Dolgeville, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 25, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hans Van Gelder and Minna Van Gelder. She is survived by: her daughters, Anne Elise Kopp (Fred) of East Aurora, NY and Ruth Lynne Miller (Stephen Moles) of Silver Spring, MD; her brother John Van Gelder (Betty) of Edgewater, FL; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Kopp (Julia Walsh), Rebekah Kopp (Michael Tohill) and Isaac Miller Moles; and her great grandchildren, Felix and Ruby Kopp. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United Lutheran Presbyterian Parish (26 E Faville Ave, Dolgeville, NY 13329). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Shirley's memory to the Upstate New York Synod (Zimbabwe Ambulance Appeal), 116 W. Glen Avenue, Syracuse, NY, or the United Lutheran Presbyterian Parish, 26 East Faville Avenue, Dolgeville, NY.
