She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ausfeld and Genevieve Ausfeld (Urban); her grandson Aaron Hopson; her brother Robert Ausfeld; and her brother-in-law Edward Rzeszot.

She is survived by: her husband Donald E. Hopson; her children, Chad Hopson (Katherine) of Dolgeville, Amber Jeffers (Keith) of Dolgeville, Tina Jeffers of Dolgeville and Scott Hopson of Dolgeville; her grandchildren, Justine Crossett (McCulley), Shane Jeffers, Jr. of Utica, NY, Michael Hopson (Danika), Ashley Hopson of St. Johnsville, NY, Dakota Jeffers, Lucas Hopson, Madison Jeffers, Logan Hopson, Parker Jeffers, Olivia Hopson and Eli Hopson; her great grandchildren, Aden Hopson and Evalynn Hopson; and her sisters-in-law, Marion Ausfeld of Schenectady, NY and Carol Rzeszot of Vestal, NY. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
