She was predeceased by: her parents, Beardslee Darrow and Irene Sweet Darrow; and her siblings, Herbert, Dewey, LaVern, Murial, Alice, Doris and Virginia.
She is survived by: her husband Harold J. Avery; her children, Lucinda I. Smith of Canajoharie, NY and Francis Avery of Canajoharie, NY; her sisters, Eleanor Klingbile of Hudson, NY and Joyce Douglas of Little Falls, NY; her grandchildren, Jayson Smith and Candice Brownell; and her great grandchildren, Lydia Dillenbeck and Carter Ruszkowski. She is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
