He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Comstock, and Edith Comstock, Sr. (Voorhees); his daughter Lori Comstock; his siblings, Arthur Comstock, Willis Comstock (Betty), Roselle Comstock and Lillian Hilly; and his siblings-in-law, Wally Sherman and Norma Comstock.

He is survived by: his close friend Virginia "Ginger" Barker of Dolgeville, NY; his children, Terry Comstock (Michelle) of Dolgeville, NY, Lynne Randall (Rodney) of Stratford, NY, Tammy Hoke (Ken) of Dolgeville, NY, Larry Comstock (Renee) of Salisbury, NY and Nathan Comstock (Jessica) of Fairfield, NY; his grandchildren, Brandon, Melissa Snyder, Adam, Kaleigh Snyder, Alex, Kayla Snyder, Martika Frederick (Nathan Boepple), Austin Frederick, Ashley Randall, Heather Randall, Joshua Randall, Jena Comstock, Ryan Comstock, Payton Comstock, Kamryn Comstock, Zack Comstock, Bradley Comstock, Eli Comstock, Piper Comstock, Jamie Ellwood and Samantha Hoke; his daughter Donna Rice (Robert) of Newport, NY; his grandchildren, Emily, Allison, Ty and Brittany; his son Phillip Barker, Jr. (Nanci) of New York Mills, NY; his grandchildren, Derek Barker (Becca), Zack Barker and Lauren Barker; his son Paul Barker (Diana); his grandchildren, Taylor and Hunter; his siblings, Virginia Sherman of Gloversville, NY and Sidney Comstock of Dolgeville, NY; and his sisters-in-law, Marie Comstock of Dolgeville, NY and Nelda Cheney of Oppenheim, NY. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and extended family.
