With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joy M. Delucco of Dolgeville, New York, who passed away on November 13, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father John; her husband Frederick R. DeLucco; her mother Addie Hamilton (Tompson) of Clinton, NY; her grandson Jamie DeLucco-Campione; her sister Delight LaBorgue; her stepfather Ernest Hamilton; her half-sister Alice Blood; and also Brogan Colbert.
She is survived by: her friends, Frieda and Emily Houch; her children, Donna DeLucco of Dolgeville, NY, Christine Volo (Michael) of Little Falls, NY and Frederick J. DeLucco of Dolgeville, NY; her granddaughter Natasha Cheyenne DeLucco-Campione of Dolgeville, NY; her half-sister Jean Fransolr; her stepbrother Thomas Hamilton of Dolgeville, NY; her niece Elaine Ruggiero (Tom) of Dolgeville, NY; her cousins, Richard Tompson of St. Johnsville, NY, Joan Bogner Lyon of Hawaii, Steve Bogner, Utica and Vivian Burth (Mike) of Rome, NY; her friends, Shirley Opperman, Philip Haas of Tucson, AZ and Nancy Garland of Fort Meyers, FL; her close friend Barbara Schwartz of Dolgeville; her pet Angel; and also, Kelly Colbert (Bill) of Trenton, NY, Brady Colbert, Joseph Moore (Nao), Kadon and Leilani Moore of Huntington Beach, CA. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Joy also traveled to Italy, Hawaii, Arizona, Florida (with the Make-A-Wish Foundation) and North Carolina where she assisted the family during her grandson, Jamie's bone marrow transplant.
